Your child will need a reliable computer (laptop or desktop), a stable internet connection, and the ability to use a few free and easy-to-use AI tools like ChatGPT, CapCut, and Canva. We provide clear instructions (and parental guidance) on how to set up and use these tools on Day 0.
Q4: How much time will my child need to dedicate each day?
The bootcamp is designed to be flexible. We recommend setting aside 15 min to watch the lessons and as much time as they want to work on their creative project. This ensures they have enough time to participate in the community and showcase their work.
Q5: How are the lessons delivered, and how quickly do the kids progress through the material?
The entire program is now structured as a 5-Week AI Creation Challenge to maximize learning and creativity (we're no longer rushing through it in 5 days!).
To give your child plenty of time to learn the skill, build their project, share it in the community, and get personalized help, we release the daily lessons on a weekly schedule:

Q6: Does my child need parental assistance to complete the bootcamp?
For Children Aged 6 and Under: Yes, parental guidance is highly recommended.
While the lessons are designed to be fun and engaging for young minds, your child will need your help with two main tasks:
Technical Setup: You will need to assist them in setting up the initial logins for the free AI tools (like Canva, ChatGPT, etc.) that we use for the projects.
Typing and Navigation: Younger children may need help with typing instructions (prompts) to the AI and navigating the different windows on the computer.
For Children Aged 7 and Up: Most children in this age range can manage the bootcamp on their own, but we always encourage parents to co-learn and co-create with their kids! This is a fantastic opportunity to bond over a future-ready skill.
